The payment gateways (Stripe and Paypal) used by our payments system do not refund gateway fees when refunds are processed. This means that for your original full payment to be refunded, we would be in the negative.

For this reason, refunds are provided excluding any gateway fees that were collected (usually a few dollars).

Example:

You purchase the for $29.99, we receive $27.99 after gateway fees are processed (this value is not fixed).

When providing a refund, we would refund you $27.99 not $29.99, because if we refunded you $29.99, we would be at a loss of $2 with your purchase.
